Teachers and researchers

As part of its scientific policy, the Royal Abbey of Fontevraud regularly welcomes students and researchers.

The abbey provides the scientific community with a documentation centre containing over a thousand books.

A participatory bibliography is also available online. It is regularly enriched by scientific work in progress.

For students, we can facilitate contact with our institutional partners: the Maine-et-Loire departmental archives, the departmental archaeological service, the Pays-de-la-Loire regional inventory service, the departmental conservation of works of art, the regional conservation of historic monuments, the regional archaeological service….

Depending on the projects developed, on-site accommodation may also be available.
