On the reception of guests’ is the title of Chapter 53 of the Rule of St Benedict. This rule inspired the guiding principal behind Fontevraud. That’s to say that the tradition of hospitality is in the Abbey’s genes!
Today Fontevraud L’Hôtel continues this tradition via an art of living and an art of receiving, to take care of and delight our guests. Better still, it has brought that hospitality right up to date!
